| This unit has been modified by Bill Crampton to optimise it's audio performance which is based around a Burr-Brown PCM63 20 bit DAC. So any past reviews won't necessarily apply. We position its performance below that of the new Fataal Audio ATTACCA DAC. But it is very nice and will outperform CD players costing less than $2000. Connect your current CD or DVD player to this DAC for vastly improved performance. The only issue to consider might be the dimensions of the box being quite tall ( H:14 D:43 W:30cm ). |
